New year's resolution: write status update posts more often. I hope it works. 😊

What I recently did:

Synchronizing store versions to 1.0.3

Over the whole December I was busy building and releasing versions to the different stores. Bugs got reported, I fixed them, but normally only released a new version on the platform the bug was reported on. So, after a few weeks I had vseveral different versions in the stores. There were two v1.0.0, a v1.0.1 and a v1.0.2.2. Now I submitted v1.0.3, which fixes a few bugs and has minor improvements.

Removed "Lock Spiral to Head" functionality from Daydream version

Google insisted that this feature violated their checklist for apps to be listed on the Daydream storefront. I informed them that this is a feature and it is off by default. I asked them if a popup informing the user about possible disorientation or how I could handle it without removing the feature. The reply was very uninformative and basically told me what was already established (that this feature violated their checklist) just in a longer texxt form. No additional info. Thaanks for nothing, Google. So, had to remove that feature on Daydream. I hope I can bring it back in another way.

What I hope to accomplish next:

Merge SessionMaker code into main MMM project

As you might know, SessionMaker has ist own codebase right now. It is a bit of a hassle and prevents me from doing any kind of preview in SessionMaker. Merging them will open the way to a lot more features for both MMM and SessionMaker.

Charmed-version of v0.9

It turns out 0.9.N has problems handling sessions created with newer versions of SessionMaker. Reports of crashes and emptied session libraries reach me and I hate that. I want to create a stability fix that informs the user that asession could not be imported or that not all session features might work. While I probably won't be able to fix all problems in the old code I can at least make it not crash.

January session

Nothing much to say about this yet. This will be my first session that I will have written and recorded 100% myself.

Ready for Mindless Trance

People loved that one. So it is time to recreate it as an importable session.

And that's it for today. As always, I'm looking forward to your comments.
