One thing I need to reiterate because it bares repeating: (Patreon)
Content
Do not feel like you have an obligation to support me.
If you don't feel like you want to support my Patreon, because you suddenly don't like me, you can't support, you feel the rewards aren't that worthwhile, or you just want to scale back your tier, whatever reason, there is no shame and no animosity if you act accordingly. You should act accordingly. I'm not going to guilt trip you or attack you for modifying your pledge. You don't have to explain yourself if you don't want to.
If you're supporting my Patreon, I want it to be because you like my work and want me to be able to produce more original content.
That is the goal of this patreon: helping build content.
That considered, it also bears repeating: I do not want Patreon to operate as a commission service as well. Request rewards are a perk, not a purpose. I'm fine with offering rewards, but this fact should be kept in mind. (The tiers for these rewards has been grandfathered in since 2015--my commission rates for equivalent pieces have actually increased since then.)
And yes, things have shifted strenuously in the past few months. Patreon has gone from being an auxiliary income source for me to a major one, considering my other primary source (Youtube) has become heavily crippled. I have done my best to keep y'all updated on this where I can.
