Feedback Poll - Early Access (Patreon)

The leaks have gotten so obnoxious that I have been wondering if this reward option is even worth fulfilling.

There's not much point to an 'early access' tier if posts are leaked immediately anyway.

So, I'm debating abolishing it, at least in its current form. It'd still apply for a bit, but would be a much shorter period. Bigger projects (like Youtube, namely) would still have normal early access phases, but art posts would usually go up the following day or two. Things like WIPs would still be patreon exclusive, so there would also still be that for a form of early access, though most finished works would have their public-facing elements go public the proceeding day.

The other option is incorporating watermarking, and putting things like "EARLY ACCESS" or the like on posts and images, so even if they are distributed, others will recognize that they're leaks and may opt not to pass them around.

I'm annoyed mostly with the blind, negligent distribution from people who just didn't know better (re: didn't know it was a leak). Bad actors are going to be bad actors and will distribute stuff regardless, but there's plenty of people out there who won't propagate it preemptively when they see it passed around, if they know that it's a leak.

I also understand that people want to share posts and works made by artists they like as soon as possible.

But also, I understand enjoying some measure of exclusivity and seeing things early. (Plus there are some benefits for me in catching errors.) And I don't want to remove rewards if I don't have to.

So, fate is in your guys' hands. What do I do?
