and now for some good news (Patreon)

While this has to do with Pornhub, it's not a NSFW, it's mostly business related.
There's basically been a really weird chain of events that turned out as a HUGE positive, with the capstone today. To just give a rundown of events:
- A patron came forward to me and offered to monetize my animations on Pornhub and forward me the payments. I was confused by this because a year ago I had tried to register to Pornhub for earnings, and was denied because they don't allow for animation to be monetized
- Made a bit of a stink about it on Twitter. Pornhub saw it and actually got in touch with me. They allow for animation to be monetized, since about 3 months ago.
- After like 2 or 3 days of talks, I worked with them and the one patron and had my vids moved to my account. This included earnings, views, etc. The patron was super helpful and up front about all this, so I also asked if they could do this without impacting his account, and they agreed.
- There were also some older vids of mine that had been uploaded to PH. After the weekend they got back to me and allowed merging these into my original uploads. Even though these weren't monetized, this still included the hypothetical earnings as well as ratings and views.
- All in all, it means I was able to finally claim earnings on 2 years of video with about 2.5 million views. I won't go into specifics, but it's a super nice bonus.
This also makes the prospect of making long format NSFW animations much more lucrative. I always planned to do more either way eventually.
I've always been skeptical on Pornhub, even when they were supposedly doing good, because it often felt like more of a publicity stunt. With the way they handled this situation and their policy changes I now feel a lot more comfortable about them.
This also means I'll have extra money available, so I can get the PV02 website updated much sooner than expected.
(Also cause it always comes up in the comments even if it's not related: youtube has also been doing well on the support side of things too. That's a whole other discussion and one that hasn't impacted me, but both companies have stepped up their customer support game as of late.)
