So, few more updates on the asbestos situation.

Turns out the asbestos isn't part of the drywall itself, which is good. it's just in the joiners that connect the drywall to the masonry. Which means it's just a few studs where there's asbestos.

Unfortunately it still has to be removed and that'll still be a process. But it also means the office wall doesn't have any asbestos in it either (which it was built much later so it shouldn't've either way).

We're currently stuck waiting on the insurance company to get back to us regarding our cabinets. They're saying only 6 feet of removal is covered, but it's all one part which would mean MORE damage would have to be done to limit it to 6 feet.

Insurance is stupid.

In any case it'll be a bit before they get back so things are kinda at a standstill atm, so I'ma take advantage of this to stream more today and actually try to work on something substantial.
