The Tragedy of Andrei Bellic (Patreon)

I modeled Niko's older deceased brother of whom he mentions exactly once (to Packie, in conversation) back in February 2021, but never really did anything with him. After all, hand in hand I felt I also needed young Niko who i didn't feel very good about until the most recent edits to him i made the past few weeks, and i needed hair for young Niko, something i still haven't gotten around to. I'll admit that his uppr drawable (an edit of the Albanian Jacket, additionally UV edited to fit the zip sweater from Bully— AND VERY WONKY TOO i never got around to fixing the right side) is a bit rough, but I still like him a lot.

I never ended up finding or modeling or giving him any sort of hair and i kept it buzzed, but i imagined him to be a touch fairer haired like their mother (Milica being the very first offscreen IV character I ever modeled).

He is probably one of my most handsome models while simultaneously being one of my least impressive, looking so much alike to Niko, but within reason. I always imagined them looking a lot alike, to the point where someone could get close to Niko and catch a glimpse of an old family photo— pointing to him, "is that you?" for him to only have to forlornly correct them, "that's my brother."

I named Andrei the way I did not just because i wanted his name to fit in with the not-quite-regionally-accurate spelling or variation of his name just like Niko's, but for an additional dimension of cruel irony, when he shares a name with one of the first people Niko had to witness be senselessly killed for little to no reason in Liberty City.
