Just a little update for you guys. I've been working on a "demo" of the final version of Something To Do With Love. It'll cover the opening of the game, setting up a couple potential romances. The save file will be transferable to the full version. After this demo I'd like the next upload to be the final game but I've been considering episodic stuff more and more.

Recently I've been putting together the sprites, backgrounds and cutscenes I need for the demo. I've also re-worked the UI to be a lot more minimal, 60fps'd everything and have been updating the existing models and animations. I set up some Blender export stuff to automate as much as possible as far as rendering, downsampling and cropping. That's saved me a lot of time.

You might be looking at the attached image and wondering who the chick on the left is. That's Jessica, she's a "your character in the game" commission.

$300 gets your character in the game. They will be fully animated and the player can interact with them as non-romance side content. If you have a character and an idea of where they'd fit into the game, hit me up and we can hash out the details

Is the $100 background character thing still an option?

*note to self, commenting on the phone app never actually posts the comment* Sorry for the delayed response. That will be coming later on. I'm focusing on demo specific stuff for the time being and the demo scenario doesn't call for any non-interactive background characters.
