Here's a little animation test I did for a project I'm planning. I'm working with a different rendering engine this time so I've been getting the hang of it. It's not exactly geared towards toony looking stuff but with a mess of node magic in Blender's compositor I managed to get the look I wanted. I even got the "eyebrows/eye outlines though hair" effect. I have a separate set of nodes for backgrounds to give it a watercolor look, and yet another for blobby anime shadows which you can see here.

This is a completely new model for May from "How This All Happened" with a slightly different look. The mocap I used for this test is from Mixamo with my own animation layered on top of it. The project I'm planning will be almost entirely motion captured with added animation similar to this.

I'm gonna start streaming the production pretty soon. It's just the rendering aspect that kind of messes with the streaming software. Looking for another solution. I might just get a really nice webcam and stream my entire workspace from my laptop.
