I never get scared by horror. Especially found footage. This movie had me feeling unsettled and spooked throughout almost the whole thing. Chase's alone scenes were so intense and freaked me out. I might have a fear of clowns now.

Random thoughts: 1) They weren't running for their lives in the forest (at least at first). They were making a 12 mile hike. It makes more sense to pace yourself. If you run full out, you risk not having the energy for the rest of the hike. 2)This movie falls prey to a common ghost movie error. The ghosts are powerful enough that it makes no sense they didn't just kill them outright and be done with it. In the first movie, it made sense that they would wait for more people to come. But in this one, there are no more people coming. 3) Chase was my favorite character. I was most sorry that he died. That said, it makes no sense to bring someone who suffers from psychosis to a place where they are expected to see things that test their experience of reality.
