"Grief and peril dominate Gino; the discovery of a tragedy becomes a revelation for Adam."

Well...things have come to an end. A slow, depressing end.

*HOW DOTH THIS WORKETH?*

The show is on Hulu. If you choose to sync up, I will do a countdown, and we will both hit play, this way you can watch along with me.

I wholeheartedly agree with your comments. The season was great visually and the cast was awesome. More Joe Mantello please! The story just didn't hit well with the AHS bit. Given how much of this was built around real things going on in the 80s (AIDS, The Last Call Killer) I think it would have made a good entry in the American Crime Story series instead. AIDS was horrific (and still is) but that's not really the kind of horror that AHS deals in. Like you said, it got a bit too real. You asked about connections to other AHS seasons and the only reference I noticed was the appearance of the Angel of Death. Now, if they had gotten Frances Conroy back to play that character and have her interacting with the guys, it would have been interesting (maybe make her a bartender subtly warning people about the killer).

I have very low expectations that the show will return to the glory that it once was. At this point, it just has to be a paycheck for most of the cast.
