Eclosion (Original) (Patreon)

This is a remake of an old sketch that someone recently stole to make NFTs (fortunately the people who ran that site flagged their account for art thievery) -- seeing it again reminded me of how much I liked it, and I wanted to do a new, cleaned up take on the same idea.

"Eclosion" is the term for when an insect emerges from their cocoon. I wanted the implication that this process of breaking up and revealing the gemstones beneath isn't a troubling process for this character -- that actually, they're progressing towards their "true" form. Unlike the old version, this new one has some light shining in her eye. Hopefully she seems more detached and imperious than lifeless, that's what I was aiming for.

I'll be back to the usual cute and horny art soon! I suddenly needed a change of pace today, and this idea was burning in me. I'm glad I had a chance to get it out. :)
