ROUNDUP: July, Week 1 (Patreon)

I don't have much to share this week -- the profile picture commissions I worked on wanted to remain private, and I've still been trying to get new print designs done. I did at least get a new drawing done of that vinyl skirt fetish maid outfit I designed, so, yeah.

Vinyl Maid Sommelier: The original plan for this character was to give her a gothic flair -- black lace and long black hair, black ribbons and ruffles, black lipstick and a black gradient on her skirt. In practice, the black gradient just did not work visually. Instead of appearing to be clear vinyl that turned black, the whole thing looked murky and unappealing. So, when I made the skirt red instead, I changed the rest of her design to match. That's when we got redhead tan tomboyish maid.

She's supposed to be carrying a bottle of Romanee-Conti wine -- but because I screwed up on my layer placement, the green glass layer of the bottle ended up behind the wine color layer and it looks way too bright and red. Because of this, I had a lot of comments wondering if she was carrying Heinz ketchup...lol
