ROUNDUP: June, Week 2 (Patreon)

1. Profile Picture Commissions (OC, OC, Franziska von Karma, Orta): Back in the swing of doing commissions, and I really like how these turned out! Especially the Miqo'te and Orta. I have a lot of FFXIV characters in the commission queue, so I'm glad people seem to like how I draw them.

2. Animation Test -- Head Turn: I did this while problem solving for a bigger and more complicated animation I'm already working on. I consider myself a novice with animation, which is probably why I roughed out the entirety of that complicated animation without much planning, lol. Then I found myself unable to figure out how to portray all these different face angles, and it made the most sense to just map it out on another sheet.

3. Animation Test -- Moving Falling Water: I did this one before starting that more complicated animation and without checking any references -- I just had a gut feeling that this sequence of images would work, and it mostly did! It's actually really hard to find examples of animated water that's both flowing AND moving at the source. Lots of fountains and waterfalls, but those don't move. Anyway, if you put this together with that head turn test, you should have a pretty good idea of what I'm working on. :)

It's incredibly hot here and we haven't gotten more than 10 minutes of rain in like two weeks -- hope the weather's pleasant where you guys are at! Thank you for the support and take care!
