I'm actually going to start talking about the profile pic commissions individually since they're the majority of what I get done now -- I'm drawing 6 a week now and I still don't know if I'll ever get caught up. ; _ ;

1. Riamu Yumemi (Idolm@ster): I've loved her design since I saw her so it was a treat to finally draw Riamu. It's always fun to do wild expressions like this and I'm grateful that the commissioner let me play around a little.

2. Hana (Fire Emblem): Conquest/Fates were not my cup of tea but I have a soft spot for their character designs -- there are many design choices that I would not have made myself, and Hana's a design like that. A samurai girl with long curly tan hair in a pink kimono with a twisted headband...on paper, I would say "that's not gonna work" but in practice, I like it.

3. Naomi (OC): The commissioner was very generous with reference materials of the 3D avatar they used for this character, and that made drawing her a breeze. Translating a 3D model into 2D is always interesting, too, I had fun with this one.

4. Narmaya (Granblue Fantasy): This commissioner wanted to emphasize Narm's cool swordswoman side, so I went all-out on the effects and did my best to fit a katana pose into a 1000x1000px image. The initial sketch went through many, many revisions but I think it turned out alright in the end. I've stopped playing Granblue for the most part (other than free pulls) but I still love drawing the characters.

5. Oda Nobukatsu (Fate Grand Order): Another interesting one! The commissioner wanted the background of the image to reflect Oda's Noble Phantasm, so I watched a clip of it on YouTube. There's a sinister atmosphere, as if the character has snapped mentally, so I decided to make his expression a bit sinister as well. Kinda of a "moments before disaster" feel. Also, the emblem on his hat is inconsistent across official art but most fan art I found uses the Oda family crest, so I went with that.

6. Smoke Break Girl (original): I haven't posted this sketch anywhere, but it's something I did months ago and recently started thinking about again. The first drawing I did of this character (who needs a name and I'll come up with one eventually) is one of my personal favorites. Wanted to make sure I included at least one piece of non-commission artwork in here, I feel bad about not doing as much personal art these days.

I had commissioned work to do Monday-Thursday (some of which I once again cannot share), and the main reason I decided not to grind out personal art today is that my shoulder has been killing me all week and I need a break. On Sunday, I helped a family member carry their 40-year-old chest freezer out of their basement up a narrow flight of stairs and...it was a process, to say the least, lol. Ever since, I've had pain in the shoulder of my drawing arm and I'm assuming it needs rest before it'll get better.

Anyway, hope y'all enjoy the art and also enjoy your weekend. Thank you so much for your support.

I'll never get tired of seeing these well known (and sometimes not so well known) characters in your style. I also cannot stress enough how much I adore your art and your style is so unique, it brings me joy seeing each piece. I wish you nothing but good fortune and health, brother. Keep on rockin on.
