I did a small mouth animation test with the new astolfo figure, what do you think?

It works well, but it might be just a bit much. Watching through a few previous videos, the motions the characters perform + the facial expression is enough to not feel like something is lacking. It could possibly work well in some longer shots where the character has longer dialog but little to no physical movement, but even then you could mabey spend the time you would have been animating the mouths to move the character more physically instead. That and I think there's a nice charm with the lego/action figures having static faces like they would normally. Seeing the faces emote/change that fast might feel a bit unnatural. imo I'm cool with whichever way this goes.

Yeah I feel like the mouth is moving a bit too much.

X3 Like them, you can notice a lot of animation regarding this, added to what I had already said in discord chat #patreon. I think yes, on occasions where the characters do not have a very broad dialogue, it would be enough to do the same as you have done in your previous animations. Although, well, it sounds a bit extravagant the fact that some characters have easy animation and some don't (except for the boss and others)
