#Thank You Patrons! (Patreon)

I personally thank my patrons on a weekly or monthly basis. But, seeing as there is an actual day for it. Thank you for the whole year of supporting me!

It has been an emotional rollercoaster to be quite honest. A lot of people are under the impression that what we do is as easy as click render, open renpy and put it together. 

And although that's really the case for some developers who release on a 90 to 365 days cycle. While making 5000 to 50.000$ a month those of us who make 1% or less, need to work 10 times as hard to get any support at all. Which leads to anger and a lot of frustration.

Then you have to deal with people who don't pay you a single cent but feel the need to voice their oh so important opinion about your game, and the direction it should be going.

It is a constant struggle to keep it together. Focus on work, ignore trolls, block hateful and misguided people... While at the same time working a real job, and a 12-hour shift on your VN.

The bottom line is this: I wouldn't be able to continue doing this for as long as I have if it wasn't for all those of you who decided to support me. Especially those of you who've supported me from day one. You gave me hope and the strength to get past all the noise and allowed me to focus on what truly matters.

My work. And with that, I should get back to it. I'll give you guys a progress report sometime tomorrow.
