Hey everyone!

I wasn’t able to do pride-related content for folks last year due to general anxiety about the state of the world, and sitting that out felt awful. I went back and forth a lot on if I wanted to offer anything, and decided at the 11th hour to Just Do It. So here we are with some quick Pride Icon Your Character Heres!

I have 3 options on offer:
A. Smoke: Let your inner pride bellow out in vibrant puffs of smoke that show your flag(s) colors. The smoke can come from either your character’s mouth or their nostrils. A single flag in this YCH will only feature 1 smoke plume on one side instead of 2.

B. Flag: This one features the classic mini pride flag(s)! They can either be held in your character’s mouth or be off to the side.

C. Face Paint: Wear your pride on your face for everyone to see. The flag(s) can either be painted smears or stickers.

The YCHs starts at 80 USD. Additional flags will be +10 USD, up to 3 total. Upfront payment via PayPal will be required, as I plan on turning these around within the first week of June. In the case of 3 flags, the 3rd one will be the background. The background in YCHs with 2 or less flags will be a toned down gradient of one of your selected flags.

Important Info:
-I will NOT be allowing major edits to the pieces. You will receive one sketch to OK and I will finish it from there. Please make sure your reference material is in order and that you selected the correct flags.

-While I am allowing “any species,” ideally the character needs to have some semblance of a face. Example: If you want Smoke and your character doesn’t have a mouth or nostrils, I cannot adequately produce a piece for you.

-Because I want to turn around these icons as fast as possible for you to be able to use them for the vast majority of June, I will be relying heavily on the symmetry tool to produce these pieces and therefore heavily asymmetrical characters will be subject to a complexity upcharge. I will let you know if I feel as though your character would be subject to this on a case-by-case basis. To avoid this, consider using a character that has a mostly, or completely, symmetrical design.

-I will NOT be doing IRL likenesses for these.

-These are ideally meant to be used as icons for your socials, and therefore are not meant to be highly detailed. I can provide examples of the level of detail I plan on shooting for privately.

-If I don’t recognize a flag and you cannot provide adequate information explaining it to me, I might not allow it just because I have had instances of people trying to sneak Really Not Good flags by me in the past. Obviously, I will not allow any harmful flags and I will not allow country flags. The focus of this YCH is centered squarely on LGBTQIA+ identities and their corresponding flags.
