TLDR, she's a shut-in turned vampire who's part of the Guild Maidens as well. Fairly late again due to my entire game needing a full fresh install due to the bad pile-up of old mods, so I haven't been able to make scenes as well as I normally do, but finally here. 

Long Story:

There is a theory of why people from the modern day get dragged into the fantasy world. People in the modern day dream of being on adventures to slay demon lords, with dragons and monsters, leading to the isekai boom.

Due to the power of imagination, the overlap of the ideas and creations within the modern day occurred through pure 1 in a billion coincidence with the creatures existing within the fantasy realm the Guild Maidens are from, causing a thinning in the dimensional barrier between modern day and fantasy. 

And this brings us to Bethina's story, formerly known as Betty in her original world, a shut-in gamer trying to find her footing in life due to her fear of going outside, often being nicknamed a vampire by her family for her pale skin and lack of sunlight in her room. Unfortunately for Betty, she was caught in one such crack in reality that had opened up in her room, falling right into the fantasy world.

Influenced by the ideas of others, she was turned into an actual vampire as a result and ended up in the town of Aruen, scared and alone, unable to walk into the sunlight. And after breaking a ton of windows and causing some chaos in town with her newfound powers by accident, she's soon taken in by the Guild, who pieced together where she came from based on her strange clothing and provide her with a place to stay in exchange for working in the guild. 

Taking on the name Bethina Blumenvert, stealing the last name of one of her favorite characters from a fantasy game (which nobody knows of), she's been slowly adapting to life as part of the Guild Maidens and overcoming her agoraphobia. Due to her inability to walk into sunlight, she'll have to make do with the Guild's night shift.

She'll eventually find a way back into the sun. But that's a story for another time.
