Dev Update 2022-01-21 (Patreon)

It's Friday! And we managed to get so much done. It feels surreal.

There isn't much to share on the personal side other than an uneventful "surprise!! blood everywhere!!" vet visit earlier this week, BUT we've been busy on the progress side. Very busy. <3

I've stopped avoiding social media and started scheduling some content again. Twitter is doing great, but our Instagram page is struggling to gain traction... Maybe give us a follow if you want to see some story snippets of past (and upcoming) game content? Also, never underestimate the power you wield with a kind word or a re-share on social media.

Zaph finished the new expressions that we'll be needing very soon for the upcoming optional content. It's mostly "come hither" expressions etc.

I've had to delete a chunk (almost a third) of content from Kiara's new upcoming scene. It was definitely the right choice! It broke my heart doing so, but in the end, the rewrite and new choices that replaced the deleted content feel much more honest and satisfying.

Oh! Infinite Stars was featured in the Top 5 Otome games to look out for in 2022 on VNGameDen, which is– wow.

I'm sure by now that most Patrons have seen the updates for the secret project codenamed "Herald." I don't want to say too much about it here, but if you are a patron and haven't seen the Herald posts, go check them out! Lots of excitement all around. It forced me to dip into my personal finances (and I'll probably have to continue doing so for a while), but it is 100% worth it.

I love all of you! I know we are all from different countries and continents, but it feels like you are all right here with me! I'll be honest: If it weren't for all of you, I probably wouldn't be making this game. <3
