Here's another update on our week of hard work, accompanied by a teaser from our newest Cephilusk character. She is still a work in progress, and Zaph is busy with her clothes and set of expressions. We'll share the final, clothed version with our Patrons soon.

Mentioning Patreon, I would like to humbly thank each and every one of our Patrons for their ongoing support while we chip away at the next release. We'll likely be refreshing our Patreon tiers soon to add some more value while adding all patrons, past and current, to the credits as a thank you for their early support. If you've been on the fence about pledging, now is a great time to do so while snagging a spot in the credits, no matter what tier you pledge at.

I've been continuing to work on Infinite Stars in my free time. It's been a welcome challenge to write the story in "events" that trigger depending on the player's actions. It allows me to insert a lot more flavor and callbacks to previous choices without too much additional work. It will also allow me to add special bonus scenes that will only trigger for patrons, without negatively impacting the non-patron version of the game.

Other than exploring the basic player navigation framework as a proof of concept, we haven't been coding much. I've learned after Episode 1 that it's much easier to edit the events and story in Scrivener than it is to do so in the game engine. I've been writing and editing whenever I get a chance. Except for weekends and yesterday, I've been able to set aside at least 2-3 hours every day, sometimes more, for working on Infinite Stars.

I'm off to do so more writing. My country has recently entered into our 3rd wave of Covid infections, so I hope everyone out there is staying safe and healthy!
