I've been working on some dynamic content for the story of Infinite Stars, and the implementation keeps bugging me.

Episode 1 and 2 had a set script where your choices would influence the story. I'm comfortable with writing and coding content like this. It's easy and straight forward.

However, with Episode 3 I've been wanting to introduce a MC, that can navigate around the UIC Tabitha, triggering dynamic events to tell the MC's story. The idea is that you as the player can talk to different crew members until the next episode "triggers," where the narrative is then changed back to how it for Episode 1 and 2. After the episode is done, you regain control of your MC, and are allowed to interact with the crew again until you trigger the next episode again.

With all this dynamic content I've been working on, I can't help but feel that maybe the focus should shift to the dynamic content, being able to choose where you go and interacting with the crew. Players can then still launch missions/episodes by triggering them.

I'm also scared to change what I've been doing so far, so I'm looking to you for some minor guidance.
