We've all thought about how OP Gohan would be if he went SS but his Ultimate form (or Mystic as some like to call him) is actually a level beyond SS, so he'd actually be powering down if he were to do that. You're in for a show these next few episodes. Also, hearing Buu scream like that, reminds me that he has the same VA as Yusuke Urameshi and that just funny. See if you can hear it next time he starts screaming.

When you ask if how they feel going into the fusion influences the fusion, it doesnt really. The idea of the fusion is that the strongest personality traits become the dominant traits of the new personality. So while they boys may have suppressed both of their more mischievous ways around their parents, they still showed how they had very strong wills and cheeky natures when they werent in their immediate earshot. This became much more dominant when he fused. I will admit that Gotenks is not my fave character and i agree with a lot of things you say, but i guess i dont feel as strongly about a lot what you say as well cos in a lot of ways i grew up with the same carefree and bratty childhood personality. Moving onto gohan. It's interesting that you say that you think an entire shonun could revolve around him as the MC cos the whole reason goku was brought back from other world when the series first came out was cos people did not like the idea of gohan being the main protag. that was what toriyama was trying to accomplish. The fans spoke and he had to bring goku back into the story cos people didnt want to have gohan as the main protag and wanted goku back haha. Gohans abilities in this "mystic/ultimate"form surpass a super saiyan. As you have probably seen, he is currently doing more damage and seems to be stronger than gotenks when he was in SS3. And as old kai said, "just do that super saiyan thing, power up and it will happen." he powered up as he would have when he normally turns super saiyan but he became much more powerful without having the SS gold aura etc. Old kai truly did release all the potential hidden within him. Finally, a throwback all the way to Vegeta and nappy traveling to earth, nappy does make the comment that hybrids seem to have a lot of power and could be more powerful that a regular saiyan. I think we just saw what he meant by the release of gohan's full potential in this mystic/ultimate form. P.S. wow, been a long time since i did a long comment like this. longest since you used to read them out loud haha.
