Point 3 - I believe, it wasn't just Kirito that has got up, through willpower and pain, moved the sword out from himself, but Kayaba with him. To explain this, we need to go back to near the end of Aincrad. To the fight with the Floor 75 boss. During that fight, to counter a single attack of the boss, Kirito's two swords weren't enough - Asuna had to time her attack in sync with his to stop it. This led to an interesting phenomenon that would go through the series - synchronization of two minds to the point of them sharing the info directly without any animation of the avatars (like how when Eugeo spoke to Kirito in the end of first half of Alicization, directly showing him his memories). Here's that part from the book 1: "We shared information with just an exchange of glances, then blocked the scythe in perfect rhythm. We forced ourselves to ignore the occasional screams from players around us, focusing solely on blocking the creature’s deadly blows. Somehow, as it went on, not only did we stop needing to share words, but looks as well. It was as though we were plugged directly into each other’s minds. We instantly used the exact same moves to block the enemy’s breathless attacks. In the moment, locked in the midst of the most extreme of battles, I felt a sense of unity I’d never known before. Asuna and I had melded into a single, sword-swinging force of combat—in a way, it was an incredibly sensual experience. The occasional heavy attack from the monster knocked off slight amounts of our HP bit by bit, but it was completely out of mind." This isn't something the system was designed for, but people of such a close connection to each other from time to time would find a way to use it without even realizing it. And in that moment, when Kayaba's afterimage came to conscious - he did it through connecting with Kirito. In original audio of the anime - in Japanese, the voice Kirito hears - is clearly overlapped with his own voice, even though he's not the one to speak. While it's not described specifically in the novel, it supports my theory that (at least I'm not the only one to think this way xD) this is exactly the type of scenario when 2 minds connected into one. When Kirito tried to get up, it wasn't just him, but Kayaba as well. Which brings the question of when did it end - when did Kirito came upfront in this duo. I think, it's safe to say, that not until he gained Kayaba's admin privileges - it's even written in a way, that may suggest my theory: "My hand shot out and caught his in midair.“Oh…?” He looked at me with suspicion again. I opened my mouth and spoke a string of commands that had lain dormant in my mind for months." The *string of commands that had lain dormant in my mind for months* - doesn't sound like something Kirito would think, but rather Kayaba, who is said to be dormant for a couple of months at this point. Further lines - I would say, with each one the probability of it being Kayaba goes lower and lower, and completely vanishes when Kirito focuses on Asuna in his view. Still is rather probable, that Kayaba was the one to set Oberon's admin privileges down, and "You stole this entire world" is 50/50 that it's him, or Kirito (or maybe bit of both).

I mean, we don't need to go that far, especially since it would be spoilery for Kat of all people.. And it actually happened a ton of times by this point - the circles I mean, I pointed a few as we went along if I remember correctly. Like this entire arc is a mirror to Aincrad. The fight on the bridge mirrors the fight with boss of 74th floor even to the point of "army" size in it :) And in this very chapter Kirito looked at Asuna and they spoke without saying a word) There's a ton to talk about without bringing pass Alicization stuff

I'm glad you're seeing my pain with how the anime adapted the novels. Believe me, it only gets worse. And once you get to Alicization...man, I really want to see what you think about that. Anyway, as for the games, I've said before that the games are pretty bad and my stance still hasn't changed. The new game that released recently is alright at first but the gacha mechanics really ruin the whole experience. The gameplay becomes a bit repetitive the longer you play and there's not much content out right now so I really can't recommend it. All the games take a while to finish, some can be like 30-50 hours depending on how you play, but my personal favorite ones are "Hollow Realization" and "Fatal Bullet". Personally I prefer the gameplay of "Fatal Bullet", but I like the story of "Hollow Realization" more. Seeing as how Unital Ring is still nowhere near completion, who knows when the anime will start. It won't be in the next few years I can say that much. At this point, a 2026/2027 release date wouldn't surprise me. Also, with the way the arc is written, I'm a little hopefull for the anime. It's in a way that feels like it should be easier to adapt without messing up things but A-1 has surprised me before with how bad they can adapt things so who knows.
