kat says we never seen goku and chi chi very affectionate but skips their wedding lol. The kiss dialogue here supposedly is forgotten by toryiama and his apprentice on super. In all serious though Goku does love chi chi very much the show was never ment to show romance. The way dragon ball world is is both benifits goku strength wise and his Saiyan nature. But because how the world and other z fighters always end up needing Goku, Goku can never really stop training because there are always threats that he always has to stop. But because goku is a sayian and loves fighting he would still train with no threats. but he would not need to leave. I actually don't like how a lot of the fan base mocks Goku and acts like how he doesn't care chi chi or Gohan. However, for 5 years he was with them in between Og and z. Then raditz comes he dies gone for like little longer than a year. Then come back in hospital his son has to go to space he has to follow and train. Then namek happens and then he relizes there are threats like frieza in the world he barly beat him so he needs to train to be able to turn super sayian at will so stay train come home trunks is there. Then he spends 3 more years with gohan and chi chi which people forget about. So thats at keast 8 years hes around gohan then he is now about to spend a year with gohan in the time chamber. I dont like how the fans down Goku as a father most of the stuff they claim about him not being there is not his fault. Also, I feel like super potrays Goku's character less of a caring father and husband so not a huge fan of how some depth to goku in z was removed or retconned in super. Super is still good but honestly i personally like some stuff from gt or at least concepts from it more than some of the concepts in super. there both actually worked on more by Toriyama's apprentice more than Toriyama. But Super still has Toriyama as the main overlooker but he lets his apprentice write or have alot of control of super too. I know he didnt do gt but only drawed some art and maybe gave a couple ideas for it but people act like he did everything on super. He actually takes way bigger back seat in writing some arcs in super more then z and og dragon ball. Dont get me wrong Super is still good and beter then gt but I feel like gt didnt go out of its way to make goku look dumber and in worse light as a father and husband as super does. I love super dont get me wrong but because of these things i feel it does small damage to how goku is preceived esspecially to the young fans that only watch super and nothing else. The thing is most of the reason goku isnt there for chi chi and gohan is cause he is either dead or training to beat a bad guy that none of the rest of the weak world could beat without him. I will say i understand the joke and is funny but some fans really think Goku is a bad dad and husband. Think of it this way Goku has a job and his job is to always save the world so in order to do it successfully some times he is away or dies or as to train to improve. The problem is if he isn't trained well or has a bad day at work the whole world suffers because of it. Not his fault the police and government and rest of the z fighters cant get the job done lol. Sorry for the long message but I've been aggravated a how a lot of fans say and believe Goku is a bad dad or husband. he has a demanding job and no can do it but him. Sorry for the rant Kat and Tat I love you and your reactions just on how goku is viewed by fan base as a bad dad and husbans bothers me in part because i feel super does some of that perception manly to try to get some comedy which is funny but for people who did not watch z or og dragon bal they think goku outside of fighting is always an idiot but hes not. Hes just some one that was sheltered for a while who didnt go to school outside of whatmaster roshi taught him and didnt have proper mother or dad. When you consider if it wasnt for grand pa Gohan Roshi and Bulma and little bit Kami he would never even became a man and not knowns anything so despite his up bringing he does quite well as a dad a husband when has the time to be there. sorry still ranting lol loved your reaction and hope everyone has a good night

IMO Super is much better than GT objectively but I still like GT more. Atleast GT felt like it had the soul of dragon ball though the story was shitty.
