Ahhh, and here we are, near the end of the season. It certainly has been a wild ride, with a whirlwind of emotion as we head to the final battle between our two destined heroes. Truth be told, this is one of the best final fights in the Heisei Era of Kamen Rider. Only a handful of others come close to this level of intensity, but boy, Gaim certainly has the best lead up out of them all. A particular note about Kouta eating the Fruit from Helheim: The point of that scene was to show that Kouta, despite appearances, is already not human. He has become an Overlord-level being simply through the use of the Kiwami Lockseed. It was foreshadowed in previous episodes, with mentions of him becoming more than what he is, but overall, that is the final confirmation he is now more than human. It also contrasts Kaito's own transformation into an Overlord. Whereas he forcibly transformed into a monster through sheer force of will, Kouta slowly transformed through use of the Lockseed and fighting to protect what he cherished. This is also reflected in the designs of their final forms. Kaito's Overlord form is much more monstrous and brutish in appearance, while Kouta's Kiwami Arms is more noble in design, much like a knight in shining armor. Anyways, can't wait for the next ones. I was hoping you guys would end up watching 45 and 46 back to back, but I suppose a week long wait won't hurt you. I mean, it didn't hurt me when I had to wait a week to see the end of the fight ha ha ha... ha ha... ha... *ahem* Moving along then, excited for you to watch the rest of Gaim and whatever season gets voted next (Probably OOOs and maybe Revice if you're still interested in watching that as it airs? Either way, I'm gonna have to prep trivia for that lol) This has been Zack, your favorite "Knuckle" head. And if that pun made you groan, blame Mumsy, I've been hanging around him too much lmfao. Anyways, Ciao~

Man, I've been waiting for you guys to see the final few episodes of Gaim for ages. The clash between Kouta and Kaito has some of the most emotional resonance of any final battle in the franchise IMO. Using your secondary rider as the final villain is a ballsy move, but it always felt like the natural result of Kaito's character. Rewatching Gaim along wi9th you has made me remember how much fun it was (and how torturous it was to wait a week between episodes back in 2013/14) Can't wait to see you guys watch the finale and the movies!
