Huzzah for more Yu Yu Hakusho! So, I assume episode 12 is going up with 13 and 14 instead? If so, that works for me. 😉 Anyways, yes this is a mini tournament arc, but not "the" big tournament arc that is commonly viewed as the best in anime. Going from that you can safely assume there are at least 2 tournaments in the show, but I'll leave you to speculate if that's all. On the topic of the Genki Tournament arc itself, it was treated somewhat casually in the show, but Kuwabara is now officially in the know regarding demons, and the whole spirit detective gig. He took it pretty well, but he already knew that ghosts were real, so I guess that's not too surprising. He's also got a crush on Botan, so we'll see where that goes. 😂 Oh and finally, and as you'll be reminded quite frequently from now on, he's got a sword! This is also the first section where I think we really get to see the banter between Kuwabara and Yusuke shine, and I love it. It gets even better once the cast is expanded a bit more, so look forward to that! 😁 One last thing. Now that you've reached episode 11 in DBZ I can safely say that Kuwabara shares the same voice actor as Vegeta, Christopher Sabat! He also plays Piccolo, Yamcha, All Might, and a million other characters in other shows you've probably seen. He's super cool and friendly in person too, if you ever get the chance to meet him at a convention!

Fun fact: In the manga Yusuke has a smoking habit which is why hes always on the roof of his school and the cigarette that Genkai threw was actually Yusukes I think. It was censored for the anime, Im guessing they figured its one thing to have an adult character who smokes but to have a 14 year old main character who smokes is something else.
