YES THE BELL HAS TO DO WITH TRAINING WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE WHO KAME IS HEHEHEHE and once you get to dbz within the first couple of episodes you will get a bunch of questions you been asking answered about goku. the intro will be a spoiler you might want to watch it after the first or second episode. its a major spoiler

I don't believe it's ever really explained in the series but, the offspring of King Piccolo that we saw before were minions created through some sort of a technique or maybe more like mutants twisted by his evil heart. The child / reincarnation we're seeing now is a TRUE offspring of the same race or species as King Piccolo.

So your mind is about to be blown. Lore drop to the extreme. You're in for a shock that's for sure. I can't wait for your reactions and these episodes are going to knock you both off your feet....and make you jump for joy. Goku is 15 here right? keep that in mind when thinking about how old he might be at the end of the Dragonball series. After next week you will be able to skip the filler if you want as it leaves it at a very nice stopping point and as stated before, there are only bits and pieces of cannon in the filler. Still very fun filler and some really great moments of dragonball but not necessary for the story. You know what he is doing from the end of episode 126 right through to where it picks up again in episode 133. Changes are coming...

if you are at DBZ dont watch the intro song for awile.. there are some spoilers in there.. And i would vote for OG/Extended DBZ, and then Kai for later.

Only thing I'll say about Kami and Piccolo Jr. is that they are both Interesting Characters if not the most Interesting Characters in Dragon Ball.

Hi Kat & Tat.. im watching DragonBall now (seen it 6 times already, this is my 7th time) but now in a watch along with you.. im at Episode 101 now ( i think further when you read this) On Episode 73 you talked about ''The Walking Dead'' and that you would like to watch that.. When you do, i will be very very happy. That is my number one show.. Have seen everything upon this point.. I only hope that when you react to TWD, you watch more then 2 episodes a week (what els it is going to take forever (10 seasons and all, for now)

It also depends on which OP she will see. The one that I saw as a kid had no a few spoilers but mainly scenes from non-canon movies so it was hard to place them or figure out what was going on haha. I still agree not to watch the OP for a couple of episodes to be completely sure you have not been spoiled by anything though, even if some of it may tease things to come.

There are certainly Villans in Z, that are really cool. And there is one that returnes a few times.. Also, the fights in DB are really good, but mostly ground based.. In Z, the fights are also Air based.. Secondly, you will see alot of new attacks.

I Have caught up now.. And cant wait for OG or Extended DragonBall Z.. That is THE anime i grew up with as a kid.. And its very dear to me.. As a Anime geek i have seen many anime.. ''Even Dragon Ball GT, which was not made by Akira Toriyama'' But it was not as good as DB or Z, and further more its Non-Canon.. And with Super around, the Last 3 or 4 Episode of Z are now non-canon too.

The German into of dragon ball is called "Das Geheimnis der Dragon Balls" (translation "The secret of the Dragon Balls"). There is also a music video of the German into. There is for Dragon Ball a German album called "Die Jagd auf die Dragon Balls" (translation "The Hunt for the Dragon Balls") with 13 songs. An English version of the German intro is also included. (And a song about muten roshi. )

In my opinion you should watch the filler episodes. We will spend more time with the characters we just met. And there is something that you absolutely want to see even if it is not cannon.

The fillers are ok but i think after Episode 126 you should just skip them and go to episode 133 and watch them on your own time if you want
