REMINDER: We will be reacting to some fillers of your choice so leave your recommendations down below! (Fillers for Naruto). The reason we're starting with Episodes 1 & 2 is because we don't want to be spoiled by any "upcoming" OPs and don't want to risk spoiling ourselves by skipping through the episodes. 

Any tips going forward will be appreciated for the BEST possible (and spoiler free) experience! We also have a new tag set up called "naruto shippuden" to keep this more organized for you guys.

The opening scene is not in context, just as it was presented to the viewers, you're all good. The episodes recommended to watch before are a two-episode arc that is non-filler but unrelated to the occurring plot dropped into the series later, whereas it was presented in the manga here between Naruto and Shippuden. No big deal considering the hassle.

The runtime seems off mainly I believe because there's no recap in the beginning and there are many after-credit scenes through the early episodes. Sakura, as a main character, is present going forward at this point in the series...and, like many military organizations, there is some kind of process to become the leader or Kage of a Hidden Village. There, spoiler free lol, and yes the music is great.

I think the best way to explain Gaara being Kazekage is that the Sand Village is a monarchy. They don't ever really explain it but they hint at it heavily.

Welcome to shippuden. You will know Pain. (moving on) Updated tiering: Post time skip Naruto, Shikamaru and Sakura are chunin level(5-B). Kakashi is still 3-A. Temari and Konkero are jonin (4-B) and Garra, as he is, is about tier 3-B(1-C in a desert environment). Dadera (the blonde) is tier 3-A and Sasori (the hunchback)is tier 1-C (don't make assumptions about either of them).

I’ve always seen Shikamaru as Naruto’s best friend, iruka and Sasuke as his brothers, kakashi either as another brother or an uncle or maybe a cousin, jiraiya as his mentor/grandpa, tsunade as his grandma and Sakura as his partner.

Oh yeah. Here we go.. Shippuuden time.. Get tissues ready ladies.. you going to need them a few times.. And a bit later the show its best to watch some episodes back to back.. later i will make a list which eps are best to combine.. Injoy Shippuuden.

Allright.. The episodes best to combine are. Shippuuden episodes 78, 79 and 80.. Episodes 132 and 133... Episodes 158 and 159.. and 338, 339.. Oh.. and the Naruto filler i think is the best to watch is 216 till 220..

The scenes in Episode 1 (with the search for Sasuke) before the intro song is a little spoiler for some time later in the show.. thats why you so confused about it all, And that was also the thing i told you about to skip.. But oh well never mind..

So Sakura was considered worst character ever due to the fact in Naruto OG she was only motivated by wanting to get closer to Sasuke for the majority of the series. (Remember what Felix said about her.) She did not try to better herself unless it was with Sasuke and had all this potential as stated by Kakashi about her charkra control but wasted a good two thirds of the series pining after the edgelord. Only after seeing that he was gone and Naruto was constantly trying to better himself with training and planning to go away with Jariya did she ask Tsunade to help her become a medical ninja. This was in the filler that you missed. In my opinion she really steps up and becomes a main player in Shippuden. Also did you notice something about how all the characters from team 7 seem to have very specific teachers from a previous team? Interesting......

Personally going to recommend you continue with the subtitled version. The english speaking actors do a great job, but I honestly feel many of the characters lose a little too much range and vocal emphasis in the english dub. Naruto as a series I feel suffers from this dissonance the most between the two vocal casts of anything I've watched. The japanese actors just seems to have a clearer tone for emotion in this series, in my opinion. Naruto's voice actor in particular is spectacular in Japanese, managing to hit the goofy notes just as spot-on as the heartbreaking ones (such as when Naruto's voice breaks, etc.) I just never seem to get the same depth of feeling out of the english actors outside of one or two standout performances and considering how emotionally driven the series is, I would hate for you guys to miss out on that. There are a lot of anime I do prefer dubbed, but Naruto and Shippuden in particular I think is a better experience subbed.
