Pretty much every new crew member from Chopper onward are people who look like they should be horribly out of place on the straw hat crew. But somehow Oda does it.

I watched both episodes this time they were great as always, all ive really got to say is frick wapool, love chopper, cant wait for alabasta where my fav character is right now all sunday :3 i love her and you'll find out more about her eventually, you'll get to meet crocodile which will be fun lol, but other than that i dont have much else to say I'm looking forward to more of your reactions

SHUT UP! LET'S GOOOOOOO! ♫ The Strawhats sail the Grand Line, ♪ ♪ adventure is what they seek, ♫ ♫ but what do we look forward to? ♪ ♪ It's the Fun Fact of the Week! ♫ D: Hi, Odacchi!! I heard from a friend, but apparently the "Sokotsuya" (Careless person) that does Karoo's voice is actually Hirata Hiroaki, who does Sanji. Is it true?! O: "Kueee!!". Yes. That's Hirata-san aka Sanji doing it. And Matsuge (You'll meet that animal soon, don't worry Kat) from Alabasta's being done by Yamaguchi aka Usopp. In the anime, say, if Sanji or Zoro don't appear in the episode, then the regulars don't have lines. What they do when that happens is they play around. *laughs* Like guessing animal voices. But they don't use their real names in the credits, so they just use "Sokotsuya" ("Rude Guy") like that. But listen carefully to the animals. If the voice actor's name is "Sokotsuya", it's one of the Straw Hats doing it. What an amazing ending to the Drum Island arc. There is one more episode left technically, but the Drum Island arc is basically over when Hiriluk's dream is realized. So in addition to this week's fun fact, I have a few more bits of trivia about the voice actors. From a recent interview with the voice actor of Luffy, Mayumi Tanaka, revealed some of her favorite lines she has voice acted over the many years in the role. Tanaka-san's most favorite catchphrase of Luffy is "Shut Up! Let's go!" when he tells Chopper to shut up and join his crew. One of her other favorite lines is what Luffy says to Arlong, "I can't navigate, I can't do anything, I can't even lie." by the way. Both are great lines, and it is certainly interesting that even over a decade later, she still fondly remembers these lines for luffy. And one more small voice actor trivia. In addition to Pikachu, Chopper's voice actor also voices Japanese Teemo! But that is enough for this week! Time to leave Drum Island behind, and finally head to Alabasta! Until next time!

-Fair warning the next OP has some spoilers, so you might want to avoid watching it for a little. (i will remind when we get closer to ep:116) -A reason for Shanks being so absent (other than his clear importance as pointed out by Jade'sFire), is because he and Luffy have a promise. Next time they meet, Luffy will be a great pirate(Luffy is currently a rookie) -Luffy, Zoro and Sanji are indeed referred to as "The monster trio" for their montrous strength. -Nami, Usopp and Chopper are conversely referred to as "The weakling trio", due to them usally freaking out about all the crazy stuff the Straw hats get into. (also being the closest to normal humans in terms of raw strength and use of tools/brains to win instead.)
