It made me start writing again and inspires me when I feel like I'm losing all of my own personal traction. When I feel like the darkness is too much, this song helps remind me that I'm the only one that can keep moving forward. I've written a BUNCH of articles on just THIS song that you can find on the site. But man, the wait for this song last year was EXCRUCIATING. The little like thirty-second clip we got in the last ep of V6 made me know this song would be something special. Waiting through June and into early July last year made me go nuts. But once it finally dropped, this was the sort of thing I was expecting. It was so beautiful and perfect. It took me my third listen to understand the lyrics, but once I did, I was bawling too. I don't think anyone in the fandom could walk away from this song without being moved to some degree. You should watch MurderOfBirds' reaction to this on YouTube. Just prepare to cry again. It's so genuine and heartfelt that it's beautiful.

Crazy thing is, it all started with Monty, Jeff, and Casey. The first trailer was just Monty soloing the animation while Jeff provided the lyrics and Casey gave (presumably) her first vocal performance.
