First, In my opinion the problem with the complaint about Sakura’s hair is less a problem of Logical VS Symbolic and more a problem of 1st VS 3rd person. Like, it is easy to make that assessment while you are sitting in a chair in your air conditioned home eating a meal but when you are in the moment and feeling overwhelmed by more emotions than you can handle you are going to have very different priorities. Honestly to me, Sakura cutting her hair was more an emotional defence than it was a physical one at any rate. I mean one of the reasons I love the ending to RWBY Volume 6 is that the focus isn’t on a fight, it’s on the emotions of the moment. Anyway, Sakura also has an entirely different moment that people like to complain about for similar reasons that really gets on my nerves but believe me we will get to that when we get to that. Second, For a moment I was worried for a moment that Kat was going to have Beacon PTSD but it looks like we won’t have to worry about that… well at least until that one arc happens. Third, I love Orochimaru, he’s such an eccentric weirdo. He is the most interesting kind of Chaotic Evil, the Chaotic Evil that loves shit to be happening around him. (Also yes we do get Orochimaru’s backstory and it explains a lot about him). Sidenote: I am pretty sure he stabbed himself because Hiruzen was trying to put him under a Genjutsu(I don’t know if that was ever confirmed or not, it is just my interpretation). Fourth, We will find out what happens to the Kazekage later on. Fifth, Personally I feel like your comment on Fullmetal Alchemist is less a criticism and more a nitpic. I mean they are a very mobile, involved pair so it would make sense to ask about them wouldn’t it? But that's just my opinion.
