Hey guys! This starts our The Last of Us 2 journey. Get ready for us play and analyze this series from the POV of the characters and even at times get personal and relate to what they may be suffering through. We would love to hear your thoughts on TLOU 2, Joel, Ellie and more.

*NOTE: We had some tech issues with the first two parts of TLOU 2 but are finding better ways to film Let's Plays. Also the video may still be processing but feel free to download.

Just offering a personal thought here, but doesn't it seem counter-intuitive to put so many people together at once while trying to experience the story? It just seems like it can be a distraction at times, and it becomes less personal than Kat's original playthrough of the first game since the game isn't speaking to her directly in a private one-on-one. I'm only 15 minutes in, but just thought I'd share what I was feeling as a general feedback. A good example is the intro cutscene of Joel talking about what happened to Tommy. It's a serious, somber character moment between them. A confessional for Joel. But there were quips and discussions going on that probably distracted in ways that wouldn't have occurred if Kat was playing solo. This is the kind of game that I personally believe should be experienced one-on-one.

Thanks for your feedback! Just a heads up that it's a muuuuch different time now than it was back then. Experiencing games with others is how I enjoy them. Doing it on my own is very stressful for me personally. It's how we're doing Let's Plays now, as a team. And since AAOG is a team it's how I'll be experiencing games going forward. - Kat

As a huge fan of the first TLOU and as someone who loved TLOU2 to bits I'm so glad to see everyone liking the game so far. Also I really like the back seat gaming format. Less pressure on everyone, conversations can happen more freely and I love different people noticing different things about the game which brings a fresh perspective for folks like me who've played through the game a bunch of times. (How did I not notice that certain something behind Ellie on the shelf before?! :) Of course the sound is annoying at times cause of internet lag and distortions and echo, I could barely hear Matt at times, but I think all in all this is a very enjoyable format for playing/watching games and already look forward to the next episode :)

Thanks thescifidork there were sound issues and in this experience we have learned a decent amount about sound and the issues that come from that. I’m thankful you enjoyed it I know the rest of the team had a blast.
