Yeah, I never understood why they changed the intro at this point in the arc (it's the third intro now, by the way). But yes, Erza's backstory is next. You probably should refrain from watching the intros from now on because they are slightly spoilery (especially the one after this intro because it reveals Natsu fighting alongside a new FT member, but we don't even find out this person has joined until after Erza's backstory). But it's up to you. I love the gag fights in Fairy Tail, they're the ones I always rewatch, especially this one. I think a lot of people watch shonens for the fights and that's why FT gets some online hate. The fights aren't as extravagant as, say, Bleach or DBZ. But there's always something important going on in every fight, usually very character-defining, or the focus is supposed to be somewhere else at the moment that's more important than that particular fight. Like you said about Natsu's trolling fight with Totomaru in episode 24. Natsu mentioned that bit about as long as your heart's in your magic, no one else can control it (which says a lot about how their magic works and what it stems from), that statement is truly pointing toward the true focus of the episode, which is Elfman's fight. I've always liked the GrayxJuvia ship (Gruvia), but you're making me love it even more! What you said about beauty is really what struck me. I fully believe that the best couples bring out the best in each other or get the real you out, and the fact that Gray turned her power (which is an extension of herself) from something that was always seen as gloomy and ugly into something beautiful, that's POWERFUL. Juvia could finally see the beauty in herself and the life around her (the blue sky) because of him. Man, that's some beautiful stuff.
