It's time for us to be ninjas and learn all about the lore and world of Naruto. I had no idea this series could get emotional. And the amount of hype that happened in just Episode 1 is amazing. Thoughts?

So here's an info dump. Yeah there's a lot of filler in this series, you should be good if you just look up a filler list and I'm sure people here will tell you exceptions (like episode 101, a must watch filler episode). You're good for awhile though, only thing in the forseeable future is episode 26 which is a recap episode. Also the pacing in the first arc can be kind of slow with flashbacks and characters standing still, but the arc is still good and once you make it over that hump it gets a lot better. To answer some of your questions: the anime first came out in 2002 in japan, naruto is about 12 right now, and yes there are lots of naruto games

Also Naruto doesnt have seasons (unlike what services like hulu and stuff say). it has arcs though which can be good temporary stopping points

Naruto is the first anime I ever watched in Subs and read the manga scans of. The anime debuted in 2002 (2005 in America). I was 17 or so when it came out. I remember up watching it every weekend up to it reached a certain Arc, with out spoiling it involved a pivotal moment with Gaara. Not being able to wait another week to see what happens I took to the internet and began binge watching the Sub. Naruto became the first anime that I ever watched in Subs. Upon catching up with that I took to the manga too and read until I reached the raw scans.
