if you ever go for oda style to art, keep in mind that they have a really hard way to color, they don't use bright colors in the general shading, only some light highlights on the contour of the character usually, but really subtle

what i found really interesting and i find hard to get when i try to use their style is that the transition between dark shadows and local color is extremely subtle they use soft gradations

they always add a light shadow around the overall shape of the drawing it doesn't matter if the light source is heavy on one side they doesn't do the borders where the light is touching directly extremely lighted, they add shadows on that contour (you can see that on my lady fanart in the right area of her belly -left area of the piece- where the highlight is touching directly is not completely bright, is subtle darkened), also they add a lot of detail even that we can't spot it at first glance on the shadowing

still on the way to master it hahaha

also be ready to destroy your wrist because they do a lot of brushwork to get those soft shadings and looking natural not too soft as using a super soft brush

You've got Oda Non's body proportion and character design perfectly I think. I get what your saying about the light source. The light is coming from the upper-left corner of the piece but the shadows make it look like it's coming from the center. I hope I'll do a decent job on the lighting and shadows for the original character I'm creating right now. I doubt it'll be perfect but I hope it'll look good.
