Time appropriate theme to one of my favorite movies ever. Reuploaded to be more vintage.

"The Prisoner's Song" is a 1924 song by Vernon Dalhart (1883-1948). It was a hit, and many say it was one of the greatest songs of the 1920s decade.

Nice man, really simple but good. I always felt the movie sort of missed out on that old Roarin 20s type of feel too it, and I'm glad it fits the tone of the film. I love old jazz, its some of my favorite type of music (Gene Austin came to mind when I saw this lol) Overall really well done ^^

Right. I love that vintage music. Was looking for things 1925 and earlier, but not too old, that would fit into the timeframe and be somewhat believable in that universe. Figuring out what to use for Balto II and III now.

Oh nice. I've always loved old music of all kinds and prisoner's song fits this vid u made so well. I almost feel like it should be canon with how well it suits the whole cold 1920's alaska vibe. Also, if ur looking for some really good older music I've recently been listening to Bill Monroe and the blue grass boys. I highly recommend it.
