They shouldn't recast Ralph they should just re hire Hartley or have him not be on the show, preferably the first one.

They should fire Greg Belanti for being such a coward for not standing up for his actors. Even Actors have 1st Amendment rights in their private lives. Greg should say to the BLM folks "I run a show called the Flash and my responsibility is to produce the best show I possibly can which includes hiring the best actor for the role regardless of their politics. So BLM activists you can stick your concerns up your asses and let the sunshine in!".

Private life? He posted it on Twitter for all the world to see. This isn't just about BLM, this is about how most of the cast are people of color and there are more women in the cast than ever before. How are they supposed to work with someone who has these racist and sexist ideals in his head. Just because it was 8 years ago doesn't mean he still has that hatred in his heart.

Exactly, 8 yrs ago why do we just immediately assume he hasn't changed? That's a long time and a lot of things can happen and he's been on this show for 3 yrs and this is like the first time anything bad is being shown about him. Surely if he was still such a guy full of hatred he would've slipped up somewhere. Plus those weren't meant seriously and while it's dumb to post things like that online it shouldn't ruin his career. He had stopped doing that since 2014 which is yrs before he got on any BIG show so it obviously wasn't because he didn't wanna be exposed he legitimately probably changed and his response sounded sincere to. Sorry for the long reply.

Quit with your whining about the firing, John. Regarding Berlanti not sticking up for him, why should he? So, why haven't the actors themselves stuck up for Hartley Sawyer? When James Gunn was fired, nearly the entire cast of "Guardians of the Galaxy" defended him. He was eventually re-hired. Not a single member of The Flash cast has stuck up for Sawyer. Grant Gustin said he was shocked and dismayed over Sawyer's tweets, regardless of it being long ago. Stephen Amell backed up Grant Gustin's statement regarding Hartley Sawyer.
