Remember chest freezer doesn't use cooling coils, the sides of the freezer are the cooling unit. So keep stuff away from all four sides. You'll have to Google gap size you'll want.

I was wondering if you were going to get a truck for hauling stuff for the base camp! Now you need a chainsaw, an auger and tiller Farmer Eric! We are buying property in AZ and heading that way when it gets cooler. Heat is kryptonite for Lupus and Rheumatoid and I have both! The place is really looking great Eric and looks like you are loving it! Are you going to finish out the house or leave it as is?
