This is the ONLY tire I could find that would fit my rim(kinda) - it’s way too tall and it rubs like crazy and I can’t turn the wheel. But I still towed it down the road and just let it rip away the plastic because I can’t find anything else right now. It’s a used tire with absolutely no tread that I got for 20 bucks. i’m still looking for a permanent solution, but at least I put on 300 miles today. I swapped the good tread front tire to the rear because this is a rear wheel drive car and I want the best traction back there, also this way I can see if this tire continues to hold air while driving from the rearview camera whereas I can’t see what happens in the rear.

I was going to tell you to put that on the back, thinking that your car was a front wheel drive. But you want it on the non-drive wheels like you have it now. 👍👍🛵🛵🛵🛵

Isn't there places that modify smart cars lifted big tires big rims different tires different rooms so you don't have this problem anymore I know it's probably means less gas mileage but you got to do what you got to do I'm so sorry all this BS is going on Eric you don't deserve this s*** hang in there it has to get better

Those look like 195 65 R15? I've found some 195 55 R15 online which have a slightly smaller Sidewall & might fit better without rubbing as much. Just search them & they may show up for sale

Also Amazon has 185 55 R15 in Stock if those might Fit also. Just trying to help. Good luck.

I just saw your post on Instagram Since your Rear Rim takes a 175 55 R15 Tire. It's should Easily accept a 185 55 R15 size tire. the First set of numbers if I remember correctly are for the Width of the Tire so theoretically you should be able to fit a 185 on the rear without an issue as long as it doesn't Rub.

As for your Front. Since it's a 155, there's a chance you could Run a 165 also. I have no idea if it's a good idea or not but Amazon has those 165 55 r15 can am spider Tires that may work. But I have no idea if they would work correctly since that thing is a three wheeler street bike.

Could you rent a car trailer from U-Haul and avoid the damage?

Donut spare tires generally run smaller than regular tires. I wonder if could get one of those that might be a better fit.

Since I don't know where you are, I did my search near Washington state, just now on Duckduckgo and the search engine pulled up ATV tires. So further research pulled up a handful of youtube videos where folks are switching out regular smart car tires for ATV tires. That might be a good ' work around' for Tater. 🤔

Would a lift kit allow for the larger tires?
