Took the car out to find a body shop to work on my RV with advice from Shawn locally. First shop won’t touch fiberglass, second shop won’t touch RVs, 3rd shop is booked out til July. On way to 4th shop in pouring rain and pounding wind, my rear tire BLEW on a right hand turn. Brand new tires… Now with the new problem, we can’t find ONE TIRE for my car. There’s a tire shortage, and even though I just got 4 of them last month, we can’t find ONE in this country… I’m just delirious now… how can overcome any of this if I can’t even keep up with new issues?

Alrighty..did some googling and will be posting coupon codes for Tires Direct shortly. We know if it happens to Eric, it will happen to one of us , some day. It's just fate.

As I said in my last post I'm so sorry to hear about all of this I have another idea for fixing the RV why don't you let your fingers do the walking instead of going to all these places contact them by computer or call them and hopefully that will work

So sorry this keeps happening to you. Check online to see if you can order the tire. Maybe post the tire on here. Maybe someone knows where one is. Good luck!

Also Eric some marine shops work on RVs too because of the fiberglass just an idea you might want to check

Rakuten dot com used be known as Ebates dot com. You can use Android or Apple. When I google Tires Direct, it send me to Rakuten to sign up for free shipping and cash back going thru their platform. You might as well save some money

Ugh...hang in there, Eric! Tomorrow is a new day and your luck is bound to change! You've been in tight places before. You'll make it through this and laugh about it in the future. Besides, it will make great content. You can't make stuff up like the day you've had. Hug the kitties! It's going to be alright. Be safe.😉

Call some marinas, and see if they have anybody that does mobile fiberglass repair :-) They would come to you. And it's early in the season is for boating, so you might luck out and find somebody that's not busy.

Wow. So sorry this is happening. Hoping for nice weather so you can take BB out locally. Dang.

Eric, check out mbccollision.com. They're located in Springfield, IL, but might be worth the drive.

That was my plan from the start when I got here but it turns out these shops do not want to talk to you about any details over the phone. They all want to see you in person and of course see the RV damage for themselves so they can argue with whatever quote you got from your own insurance company. They just don’t want to talk over the phone. I’ve even been on hold for 20 minutes waiting on Shop and they hung up on me

I absolutely love that recommendation. That is a little bit farther out of the circle I’m working in right now, but it’s another one to add to my list. Thanks so much.
