Funny backstory to these Falls though… Many years ago a flood came through town and wiped out the real Falls. Leaving nothing but a slow moving Wichita river LOL. The city founders decided it just wasn’t the same with no falls in a city called Wichita Falls. So they completely built these fake falls on the hillside below a cemetery. They pump the water up from the Wichita River and drop the water over these fake falls with awesome viewing areas and steps. Pretty funny actually
