Decisions, decisions. I leave for Arizona In 36 hours, and I’m still torn between bringing the bike and trailer or the smart car. There are pros and cons of both. I’m happier with the bike but the car makes more sense due to weather and comfort. But I KNOW I will miss it in out west these next three seasons away from the shop. What do you think? I could also keep looking for a bigger, longer trailer on the road that would fit both the car and the bike and just sell the current trailer later down the road.

Sweet talk someone into towing the bike & trailer down to AZ and tow Tater Tot! 😉

If the larger trailer was more practical, meaning the added length won't be a problem, the increase cost of gas, and Miranda isn't too old to haul it - it seems like a good solution, but I think those three things have to "do no harm." If it were me, I'd take Tater Tot, but then I don't know how to ride motorcycle. :-)

I would suggest take Tater now, and in the Spring, come back up for Easter or after the thaw, and get the bike. I am sure there are plenty of places out around Illinois that you haven't explored as a ' justification ' to exchange out vehicles. If there is any chance of snow where you are traveling, it's better to have Tot than the bike for bad weather. If Miranda gets stuck somewhere, you could take the kitties and go in a car, but where can you put the kitties on a motorcycle? Think worse case scenario 🤔

"I think we're gonna need a bigger trailer!"

Well come spring which will be here before ya know it, I’d take your bike with you. It’s new to you and it will be a lot of fun. Waiting for a weekly motovlog!!

Why can't you have your cake and eat it too I say it's time to go shopping for a bigger trailer

Get an Outlaw toy hauler and tow the car. Simple.

Larger trailer. We really miss our Harley when the weather is too rainy here in WA.

Another idea would be to ship the motorcycle. To give you an idea of cost, I paid $250 to ship my bike from Disney World to Atlanta.

Take both and look for a bigger trailer!!!

Avoid bones snaping and skin coming off by using a car instead, during the winter season.
