Everyone should know that Maine campgrounds are opening Friday ONLY for Maine residents. Anyone not a Maine resident can start using campgrounds on June 1 but only AFTER a 14 day quarantine is completed. We are in day 7 of our 14 day quarantine so we are in the loop on this. Our campground reservations start June 1 at multiple Thousand Trail campgrounds. We were already contacted by one who wanted to make sure our RV is fully self contained because no amenities will be open. As always, the 14 day quarantine requirement could go away at any moment and it is predicted to do so because it totally screws up the tourist season. However, we are doing the quarantine so it doesn't make any difference to us. We are already gorging on seafood with lobster prices $6 a pound. Life is good in Maine. I can't believe Eric is going the opposite direction. Do a U-ey Eric, and join us! See you at Acadia!
