The Ladies Society is a matriarchy of very wealthy women, not much is known as to their numbers, only that membership is by invitation only.

Its origins began in the wake of the suffragette movement and throughout time, they have slowly gained influence in every avenue of business, culture and politics, yet they remained muted by the male dominated misogynist values of the financial and political world and regarded as nothing but a futile bunch of sad old women.
