Some important shit, I guess (Patreon)

Hey, tentacles!

So, things have come out slowishly. I will begin this update by saying that a new story will be out pretty soon! It is, though, one I won't be able to put here. It will be posted right away to a website that starts with "H" and ends with "oundry" that I think y'all are mostly familiar with (PM me if you aren't!). It is, of course, funded neither through, by, or from, Patreon, of course. This is important. For reasons.

The reason I've been distant (even on Discord, which you should join if you haven't, it's open to everyone who subs, and is actually a really cool community!) is because everything ELSE I'm doing is going to shit. I've had a lot of pans in the fire, and everything, in all of them, is burning. Cancerdoll, the comic I wrote several issues of, that was already drawn and basically finished? In dire jeopardy after the ENTIRE COMPANY DISSOLVED. The game I was voice acting for, with prospects for future work? Would be cool, except for the ENTIRE COMPANY DIS-- it's weird for that to happen several times in a row, right? Yadda... yadda... yadda.

So my time has been spent largely coping, lashing out, and primarily, scheming, trying to find ways to re-use abandoned content or otherwise wrangle shit together.

I also realize I've not been making good on promises to upper-tier patrons. This is purely my fault. I made some dire mistakes in estimation of interest, when attempting to calculate how many people would want to be involved in the pitch process, vs. how much money I'd lose doing those stories. If you've been pitched at the 13 or 6.66 level, I encourage you to drop to a lower tier. Shit happens, but in this specific case, 100% of that shit is all over my face, and I accept it wholeheartedly. I WILL still finish the last thing that was pitched, and will then attempt to build new tiers to fit a vision that, while maybe not as engaging, will be easier for me to fulfill, and maybe more exciting, and then reopen them. If you feel especially wounded by this, please PM me, or message me on Discord, and I'll attempt to make amends in... some way. I'm figuring this shit out as I go along. Always have been, assume I shall always be.

I wish I was more consistent, but hey, at least I'm not the Patreon creators that totally vanish for months at a time? XD Again, new stuff in the next few days, and I'll make a post reminding everyone that it's been put on THAT CERTAIN WEBSITE, which is not funded or in any way perpetuated through Patreon.

And, as always -- and I know I don't say this as much as I should -- I love all of you, and really hope you're having a fun time here. Let's keep having fun together.
