Hellion Update (Patreon)

So, feels like a while back I took a poll on homebrewing a new 5e subclass -- and, in great number, you all decided on the Hellion Artificer. Just wanted y'all to know that I am still doing it, and making a decent bit of progress. The expanded spells are finished, several mechanics have been cooked up and rolled around, and a core mechanic has also been established.

One of the reasons it's taking so long is that I'm basing this subclass on things like Battle Master, Arcane Archer, and the Warlock's Invocations. The subclass will get a pool of Mayhem Dice that they use to fuel and power abilities, of which they get to choose from a list. But for the Hellion to feel properly customizable and fun, I need to cook up (then balance and level-gate) a substantial number of different abilities -- that's what's really taking the time.

That said, I'm getting closer and closer to finishing up a prototype, so I hope you guys enjoy it when it's finally done!
