[Master Post] Foundry VTT Item Packs (Patreon)

Greetings Patrons!

Early Access: This master post collects the 2-3 most recently released VTT Item Packs (depending on their theme size). Each pack stays on this post for a minimum of 2 months, after which they can only be purchased through the Loot Tavern website. Download and save yours soon!

Installation Instructions

Copy the module.json link, navigate to "Modules" on Foundry VTT, click "Install Module", and paste it in the "Manifest URL" bar at the bottom of the window.

If you are hosting your game on The Forge, you need to input the link into the Forge Bazaar's button in the top left corner.

If you're still having issues, Foundry's Official Web Page has more detailed instructions for installing modules.

Hi! When things are removed here, do you get a link with them sent to your direct messages, or are they just gone? If they are just gone, at which set dates do they disappear so I know when I need to fetch them? Used to Griffons, which sends the links out when they disappear from the page, and am rarely on Patreon normally, I could use some specific dates just so I know when to check in :)

At the end of the month (or early following month), we send every patron who supported at tier for that month the permalink for that month's packs :) You should get a link pretty soon!

Is there any guide to import this in The Forge? I have beenb able to load it on my device for the local app, but it always fails importing to the Forge

Figured out the issue. The max asset upload limit for my subscription tier is 50mb. The module even zipped up is over 370mb. Real shame that. Even the highest tier subscription only supports 200mb asset upload limit. Looks like the only items my players will have access to is the Free Pack :/

No worries Amanda, it's for that reason that we're splitting the megapack into single themes packs :D We'll start uploading them real soon. The last foundry update broke some AC, we're working on updating that as we speak :)

Im having issues with the links not sending me to a site, I tried it originally in Safari and then in Chrome and neither worked.

Hello Damian, There are not links that direct you to a website. You need to copy these in the maifest URL section ( Open foundry, go to add ons, install add ons, and you'll see the field in the bottom) Just copy paste the link there and it'll instal the module for you :)

I am having issue with some of them not opening even after import. is this a known issue with DAE?

How often is this updated? every month? I was looking to add the fungal ring from July and the broodsinger from June and they aren't in the VTT compendium.

Hey Josh Broodslinger will be added with this month's release and fungal ring will come next month to the foundry pack. However they are already available as normal posts and you can copy paste the text into foundry while we work on the packs, if you're in a hurry :)

Vol.1 Is "Lost and Found" - it's basically the catch all for things that don't have a home (yet). Vol. 5 is rakin, I think? Which isn't a 'whole' theme, but should be quick to get on. Vol. 8 was a collab for theros stuff - those all need a re-writes (they're currently all legendary things not written by us).

Yes the megapack should contain all packs until now (safe one or two maybe). So you can absolutely install that one first.

Alternatively, you could load a local version of foundry, install the mega pack, then pick the magic items you like out to a compendium and install that to forge? Just an idea

I am having a similar issue Dan. I go to and install it and i simply get a "installation not found: Not Found" when i put the URL like normal into the manifest URL

Same as myself, yeah. I put the links in and it says "not found." I have screenshots if you still require anything! I've never downloaded them before, if that matters. The others worked fine, though, which is awesome!

Do I have to buy the old VTT pack to update them? There is an update on my Forge, but when I tried to update the pack it told me to buy it on the bazaar or link my patreon.(I already linked my patreon account)

I'm getting a 404 page from the Vol.30 Hospitaller's Hoard module.json link. Also, I'm new here, do old volumes disappear to encourage people to stick around as patrons? Is the megapack no longer a thing?

Is this currently being updated? I have noticed the last few monthly themes do not appear to be available in Foundry.

Since Foundry updated to v10 i have lost all prior Magic Item packs - By that i can see they are located within my local modules folders however they are not viewable within the Foundry Add-On Modules tab itself. Assuming that something has changed with how Foundry recognises modules in v10 is there a quick fix i can make to each Magic Item pack to resolve ?
