Epic videos

I'm offended. I may be from the early '90s but I don't think that makes me old and gross.

Anonymous

Classic, i remember having one of those as my home phone

Your videos always make my day. I remember this old phone I had that I think you'd love. It was an old blackberry but it's gimmick was that the screen tilted and moved when you pressed on it

Anonymous

It doesn’t handle well…so it isn’t sporty.

Old phones are epic and my dollar is still staying because I need two dankpods videos a week

Huh... I was born in '93. Weird.

Knowing Telstra, 4 hours of battery life is all you need for one call to their customer service

Beez1717

The phone looks bottling even from a 1993 perspective!

The battery struggled because the antenna would pump out enough power to reheat your dinner.

This turned on but that kin phone didn't. I love it.

Attention, Attention..new premium Grado's have been announced. Grab those Kangaroos, Dank..

Anonymous

I wanted to hear its crappy ringtone, I'm also confident it outsold the kin.

That wasn't advanced even in 1989 😂

Anonymous

Well.. it still works MICROSOFT!🤣

These old phone videos make me wish I'd saved my old cell phones. Old mid 90's Nokia, a couple of Razors, the first few generations of iPhone, my old reliable HTC M8, the bootlooping nightmare that was the Nexus 6P, ah the memories. I remember thinking how cool my original phone was while also being kind of disappointed at how limited and clunky it was. I knew these things had a long was to go. Advancement was inevitable. When the iPhone came around, it felt like this is how things are supposed to be, like I'd been waiting for it.

I’ve had to cancel other Patreons, but never, NEVER, my Dankpods-1-dollar-a-month-extra-videos. They’ll have to take them away from my cold, dead hands. I have spoken 😌

That logo is a blast from a very specific past... from that narrow stretch of time after the Telstra logo redesign in 1993, but before they officially started using the Telstra name in 1995 (all in preparation for the privatisation in 1996...)

When we moved in, our internet was coming in through a hole in the wall behind the fridge and into a Telecom Australia branded wall socket (with modern Telstra logo). Interesting to see how old it probably was, and even more interesting that it was still working.

Yea mate, I still can afford it... Just drink one beer less a month... It's better for me either way... Take my dollariydoo...

The laugh @1:00 has me dying 🤣🤣

Wait it must do texts, otherwise why would it have letters on the buttons?
