Yes. I've been wanting this

Watermelon

Anonymous

Frank looks very comfortable in that Couch. And BTW. Blaupunkt was a Bosh owned car stereo thingies manufacturer. They went to liquidation in 2016.

Anonymous

frank lets gooooo

Anonymous

i was pretty sick today so two videos from dank really raises my mood :>

Anonymous

wooooooohooooooo

Anonymous

I like how everything is symmetrical

Anonymous

Thursdays are alittle more bearable with dank Vids to look forward to

Anonymous

Frank is loved! That is all.

Anonymous

man, my speakers, which are also my DAC and headphone amp, are walnut... it's like those 99 classics are made for them 🥺

Anonymous

Well, they aren't home speakers if they don't weigh a ton and have enough wood in them to make a dog house. It isn't like you are going to wear them on your head. Nice setup!

Anonymous

Oh mate behold it’s Frank.

Anonymous

Paid 1$ to see N64 setup

Anonymous

I watched this video on my phone with my JBL Charge 4 NO JOKE First time ever that speaker has VIBRATED MY ENTIRE SPACE around my desk when Wade's speaker setup came across

Anonymous

Ive seen all of your videos, some of them multiple times, yet when you played the regular test song(I don't know the name), I heard details in the bass that never before. That subwoofer is really something.

Anonymous

Cant wait to watch it

Anonymous

I do. I do love Frank.

Anonymous

"Looking for my Franklin" needs to be a full song.

Anonymous

Do you put the N64 through the huge speakers?

Anonymous

Ah man, seeing you talk about how the lower frequencies in the bass really brings up the entire sound really makes me miss the days where I was a gigging musician. The rumble of double basses really just let the room or hall itself reverberate and it really fills out the sound.

Anonymous

I have a Cambridge audio amplifier and two speakers, as well as an audio technica turntable, probbaly the best entry level set up I can get my hands on and I honestly would not replace it tbh, for my applications its good enough and it can really make music out of spotify sound really good

Anonymous

Man it’s truly insane how much of a difference a good rig can do! I just started getting into audio and man it’s so exciting learning about the same thing but with a different perspective!

Henry

I love frank so much

Anonymous

Frank is Amazing as Always!

Anonymous

JEAKLIN FLOATS PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT THEM

OzRetrocomp

Those speakers look like a pair of SA Greats.

Anonymous

My family had two insanely expensive, 185cm tall speakers and a massive stack of audio control boxes that either my mom or dad got for free from their work as they had no use for them and the manufacturer refused to allow them to be but back on their market, each one had a S.D 12/98 , $24,499 and the control boxes has prices from $50.00 to $930.00, all purchased in December of 1998. They were huge incredibly heavy and no-one wanted to move them across the US when my family moved halfway trough high school, and were taken from our curb after they were left out for an e-waste truck.

Anonymous

Nice ELO album! Love that album

Anonymous

Making me want to pull out my old technics reciever and klh speakers.

Anonymous

I’m sure I’ll get shouted at for this but the whole vinyl thing is the emperor’s new clothes & understand I’m 47, I grew up with vinyl. (& cassettes) When CD’s became accessible myself & many like me were happy to see the back of pop, skip & hiss. Now you can tell me vinyl is “warmer” blah, blah, blah & Ill call you a pretentious w**ker. Digital music gives you clean, accurate reproduction, a good DAC &/or a good speaker/headphone setup can give you the warmth without the negatives. Great video, thanks. Frank is lovely.

OzRetrocomp

Looks like someone bought the brand and started slapping it onto any old tat they could find. If you really want to feel down in the dumps, Google "Nakamichi dashcam". It's physically painful to see the name that's on some of the greatest cassette decks of all time being plastered all over Wish-tier in car electronics.

Anonymous

Yep, we do love you Frank!

Anonymous

Frank the couch bandit

Anonymous

We love the Frank

Anonymous

Those speakers sounded like I was wearing headphones. Incredible

Anonymous

"ppl love u frank" lol

Anonymous

Beautiful. I have a home cinema amp amd used speakers myself. For the vinyl I need a phono pre amp as well to hook it up to aux but it's just beautifil sound out of beautiful speakers. And watching a movie on this, TV is hooked up as well, is great.

Anonymous

We love Frank

Anonymous

That subwoofer takes you to 3rd base

Anonymous

What's the headphones on the right speaker?

Anonymous

Gotta love that fantastic furniture entertainment unit

Anonymous

I’m sad, at the end we got no lick!

Anonymous

So out of curiosity I was snooping on Ebay to see what i could find and someone from the UK is sell a pair of stax for like $600

Anonymous

love the ELO vinyl

Anonymous

MOON!!! QUEBEC REPRESENT!!!

Anonymous

Been a subscriber since your first raycon vid. You’re genuinely so interesting (and kind) that I just had to shell out the five bucks. Love you man

Anonymous

I think it’s Called “a stroll through the park” (or something similar) he mentioned it in one of the earlier vids mate

Anonymous

The cheap-ass 4K smart tv with that sound setup feels so lopsided. I recommend looking into an OLED TV. It'll really make all the colours pop to go along with the audio setup that makes your ears the happy ears.

Anonymous

Now that you are getting into vinyl you really need to go look into all the record player nuggets that came out over the decades. Like pretty much everything Sharp or Mitsubishi made was very weird and very 80s. Or the Sony Flamingo series that doesn't even look like a record player.

Anonymous

Still loving all your videos, thanks Wade. I would have loved to have heard the N64 on the table for the TV vs Speakers comparison 😄

Quadrant

This isn't Cashies

Anonymous

Cambridge Audio…loving that. My basic A5 integrated amp is still going strong after 21 years or so.

Anonymous

Frank looks very comfy at the end

Gxtzqvtunes

Watching this in my car and it shook the right side

Loelinverse

Hey Dank! When are you going to cover the magical world of tactile transducers? I use those in place of a sub and I get more bass out of my setup than having a satellite speaker.

Anonymous

Damn those speakers are bigger then my head

Anonymous

What a setup!! Beautiful, glad you're into vinyl too, would love to see a collection video on the bonus side down the line :D

Anonymous

You know what they say about a man with big speakers? Big snek.

Anonymous

that was the first time I could see and feel my $30 try its hardest lol. I mean this thing almost fell off my computer.

Andrew Mayo

Why arent there planar magnetics speakers yet?

Anonymous

Showed up in the vid today, so weird lol

Anonymous

Yes, we love Frank

Anonymous

i guess burmester speakers are a 2022 goal?🤔

Anonymous

Me looking at the record sleeves backwards lol

Anonymous

Welcome to the vinyl world! I have a stanton turntable

Anonymous

I'm new to Patreon, so I need to see if you've posted about this yet. But if not, I'd LOVE to hear more about your Floats! I remember you referencing them in your Empyrean's video, and I've been curious ever since

Anonymous

Can you please make a video about Koss's brand knew "utility" revision of the kph30i; the kph40? Everything about them has been greatly improved for only 10$(USD) more. I just got a pair and i love them. It doesn't have to be a main video. I just want you to share your opinion on then, and to spread the love for these headphones.

Anonymous

Bought a pair of 99 Classics a week ago and I am in love, thanks for the great recommendation

Anonymous

Very different setup to my HTPC connected to Logitech Z906 lol!

Anonymous

I want to listen to all my music recorded by the ears in this room

Anonymous

first time commenting on patreon, just had to say i love the cuts between the rig and Frank. was kinda hoping to hear Scarlet Fire through the rig 😂 also welcome to the vinyl family! i have a Pioneer LP-518 myself. got it for fifty dollayroos from a guy moving to a retirement home and wasn't able to take it with him.

Anonymous

Missed opportunity to say HEAPS GOOD. Loved seeing Frank on the loose.

Anonymous

"good headphones stay good". does that count supposedly good $100 headphones from 10 years ago originally which are no longer made, that you can only now find on eBay for $200 used?

Seth Mattingly

Very nice! I have a really scummy audio setup that I crammed together, some tiny Polk Audio TL3s that fit on my desk, an old Marantz SR8002 that I fixed, and a big SVS PC12 stuffed away in my closet. That's the first, actual big bass that I've experienced. Shaking the floor is fun.

Anonymous

Meze in the background like that gif of all the hot dogs being thrown at someone, only with money. You deserve it Meze.

Anonymous

The heck are those on the OTHER speaker? (on our right) ??? what are those ear bricks?

Anonymous

That's an impressive setup!

Anonymous

Poor Sigma's getting ignored in the video.

Anonymous

Why is it that we all love Frank so much? I love her too, I just find it interesting that one snake has captured all our hearts like that.

Anonymous

Welcome to the world of always finding better and better things. I started out small and now I have big massive custom made JBL cabinets driven by power hungry monsters of amps. Great setup!

Anonymous

Massive Love Heart for buying Adelaide SA Great. ❤️

Anonymous

That hotwheels game is the bomb

Anonymous

what the N64 game?

Anonymous

You make me exhale through my nose harder then usual

Anonymous

For lack of better words. The TV sounds very TV

Anonymous

Wade is the kind of person I’d want to be friends with

Anonymous

But what about the 80s looking digital clock and the Sony cassette player (I think?) with the lovely VU meters?

Anonymous

The sound sample sounded a bit left leaning to me. Idk if that's just me. Go Frank?

Anonymous

Love the channel, but there’s A LOT of promotion going on this week.

Anonymous

I'd generally agree with James, you want to be careful on too many promotions all at once. At the same time, I did just buy a pair of 99 Classics, and a little while back I bought the Bose Sleepbuds... I and I'm sure many others trust your endorsements, please don't go too hard on that :D

Anonymous

Pods have you seen grados wireless beans?

Anonymous

man i wish i could grab a beer with ya mate and listen to take sound all day

Anonymous

I was shocked too but I kinda love it. He showed disdain to companies being controlling in guessing the companies that are sponsoring him are hands off so I still get those pods vibes.

Anonymous

im crying i have been waiting for 7 days for s***.

Anonymous

The rig sounds amazing out of my Samsung smart fridge

Anonymous

i was a serious musician when i was in my early 20's so i totally can relate with both having a trained ear and being too strapped for cash to get quality gear. seeing your rig and watching your channel grow from modding ipods to 1M subscribers and having a warehouse has warmed my heart. you seem like a good hearted guy and i'm stoked to see how things have gone so well for you. cheers!

Anonymous

It’s noticed that you got the electric light orchestra vinyl

Anonymous

Can I come over and hang out?

Anonymous

Whats in the two draws on the left

Anonymous

I bought my BTR5 from Vic's Addicted to Audio thanks to your recc, and it's a beaut!

Anonymous

i know those VU meters when i see them thats a Sony TC-D5!!! i love my TC-D5 Pro II, i also got the D6C Pro that most people kinda talk about in the "best sounding walkman" kinda ways, its nice, but it is huge to carry around, but with that weird 90 degree capstan drive, it never wobbles on speed when walking, sounds great, and has a vu meter, and that made me happy

Anonymous

I know this is about the dank setup and it's a sight and sound to behold truly but mate I'm living for your interior design. You get all that together yourself? Love all those muted greens and browns everywhere, that TRIM. Brilliant.

Anonymous

I Think The video was easier then getting Frank Out of the couch

Anonymous

HOT WHEELS TURBO RACING REEEEE!. . . hecc yeah

Anonymous

Expected Frank. Got Frank. What more could a person want?

Anonymous

old 80s music like Tears for Fears must be amazing on that setup, damn...

Anonymous

My tv sounds like someone watched it already

Anonymous

nice bluepoint

Anonymous

Good show

Anonymous

FRANK YOU IDIOT I LOVE YOU

Anonymous

I asked my wife to get me old mate Sammy's eight fiddies for my birthday due to the recommendations and the headphone rack video (please give us another, or don't, I'm a low tier sub and it's your channel). They were perfect for hearing the differences in the audio setup. The 850s are actually so good that I've been going back through all your headphone videos, just like I did when I got my KZ ZSN pros. Despite the limitations, I absolutely love the freakish ears on a stand! Listening to the comparison cuts you make gets a bit more special every time I upgrade. Thanks again Mr Pods for being one of the best dudes on YouTube.

Anonymous

Oh boy, we need a video about those Jacklin Floats 🎧

Anonymous

I do love Frank! Probably my favorite Australian dog.

Anonymous

Was that a Hotwheels N64 game? Keep up the great work Mr. Dank!

Anonymous

this is frank-ing awesome

Anonymous

duz frank ever get out? my one friend walks his snek

Anonymous

Oh man, I also have a Blaupunkt TV. I bought it because it reminded me of good old audio. Unfortunately, it's rubbish at the moment, just a cheap Chinese TV with the logo of a well-known brand thrown in - it's 32 inches and a resolution of only 720p. I use it now as a second computer monitor because it is not good for anything else. But the speakers remind me of my Tonsil Altus 300, also quite good local brand equipment. They've been making the same model since the late 1980s.

Anonymous

Do you not get feedback from the turntable with it being in an enclosed space? I always have to keep mine open to the air otherwise the needle picks up reverberated sound

Anonymous

Loved the elo album in the background

Anonymous

Great speaker setup. Handmade is the way to go, there's a feel of quality in craftsmanship when it comes to well thought out higher end gear. It's worth it that sort of immersion really affects your listening experience... Like me. I've brought my grandfathers original JBL 4311 speakers back to life and they're stupidly amazing. I am running a seemingly decent quality amp but cannot complain. I first used them as a young teen with GTA4, you could super clearly hear the in game break disks when stopping. Nearly 50 years old yet they drive contemporary music flawlessly. They shall become a Ship of Theseus in due time.

Anonymous

I love that TC-D5 under the TV

Anonymous

damn, I can't tell the difference between original and the recording (besides a little bit of extra bass and reverb)

Anonymous

How did dank put a TV on those freakish ears on a stand i wonder.

Anonymous

i would love to have the freakish ears on a stick just listem to a random sound bar and a cheap surround as comparisons. i have a $700 yamaha 5.1 (arranged 2.1) in my lounge. it is better than nothing. but i would love to hear how that kind of thing compares.

Anonymous

I gasped at the difference through my own nugget setup

Anonymous

I truly hate sneks but I love Frank

Duncan Creamer

Dankpods you doing anything at womad this year?

Anonymous

Me telly is bigger, but I need some bigger woofers and little barkers
