God, I'd love to get 5 minutes in that pile of PS1 stuff I saw in the opening. Seconded on the AFL rec too, you can sign up to their streaming service from outside Aus (can do that with Supercars too but y'know, RIP Supercars) and just watch games.

Had the 5th gen in blue as my first iPod. Didn't use the really use the video function though. I remember thinking that it would have been cool if it would take a picture. But I have to admit the refesh rate was smooth and was joy to use.

My first ever apple product that was actually MINE was an orange 5th gen nano I got from gamestop. Still got it, the LCD is broken tho. It's sad, I miss the boy.

i have an ipod na no 1st gen 1GB that im currently using for podcasts for whatever reason lol. cute happy little nugget sitting in my car when its prob gunna be like 30*c outside tomorrow... might have to rescue it lol... i would love to see a cashies commercial done by this guy lol i would definitely sell my soul to a company if they had ads that had the energy of this guy

I collect ipods and apple stuffs personally and have every nano except the 1 and 2.. 2 3gs and 2 7gs and i love them all.. and no black spots!!! ...yet...

i've got a second gen that I just replaced the screen and battree on, its in a fresh case if you want one for your collection (ish the 8gig, so the fancee one)

You know, some people look down on people that shop at thrift stores, but I work at a thrift store, and the amount of incredible stuff we get in is crazy! I found a 4TB Xbox One hard drive, new in it’s box! And the best part is, as an employee, we get certificates that can completely negate the cost of an item, and on my break, I got that brand new unopened 4000 GB hard drive... FOR FREE!! I love stores like this!

I was 11 when I got a 5th generation iPod Nano and yeah... it really was amazing. Coming from a 2nd gen Nano, the UI was so smooth and it was so tiny.

Oh god. Bart vs Space Mutants. The first time I ever disappointed my old man. "Santa" got it for me, and I was like "Oh... this is a terrible game". Then I notice his face. "Oh I mean compared to the other Simpsons games its the worst, but they're all good games... uh...". Yeah not sure I dodged that one. 30 years later I still remember the disappointment!

I only ever had a first gen nano, but even at the time I remember being kind of blown away by how small and dense and just sort of expensive it felt, y’know? It was maybe the fanciest bit of kit I owned that wasn’t my desktop for a while! Loved that thing, have NO idea where it is now.

that gen nano was my first ipod, and man did i love that thing. i almost regret selling it for my touch, though with it's myriad of problems I was probably better off in the long run.

My first ipod was a pink nano with a camera. It caught the sads, though...I checked on it around when I started watching your vids and saw that it had the black spot. Loved it to pieces. (also had an idog amp'd! that was one of the best parts of having an ipod back then for me, along with the clickwheel games)

i cracked out my old ipods cause of you! my old nano doesn’t even have the black spot and i still have an old charging cable so we’ll see what happens there. also eeee moment at the lotus esprit! my dad has a replica cortina and i was named after a lotus car (until i changed my name because i am not really a car person)

Man I had (Still have) the 4th gen nano in Shrek Green and you're absolutely right; when I got it I absolutely loved it. My first and only iPod I'll grant you that but it was such a key part of my childhood, and it still works, and it doesn't have the bLaCk SpOt oF DoOm.... yet.
